We were asked to come up with the concept for Spotify Brazil's 10th anniversary party.
To celebrate the brand in the country, we invited five illustrators, one from each region, to share their own take on a party—and on our logo.
The theme couldn’t be anything else, given Brazil's rich mix and plurality of rhythms: caos.

NORTH

Winny Tapajós, from the Tapajós people of the Karidade village in the Cobra Grande Indigenous Territory, Santarém (PA), has lived in Palmas, Tocantins, since childhood. Her art is inspired by portals, hybrid beings, waves, mushrooms, and forest animals, all of which shape the concept of her work.

NORTHEAST

Yann Valber, with a Bachelor's in Design from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, brings a festive and joyful chaos through abstract elements, blending colors and shapes that evoke the Northeast. His work combines overlapping, intertwined forms and aims to incorporate more vernacular, handmade elements.

MIDWEST

Irmãos Credo, Black artists from Goiás, created an illustration space focused on landscapes, drawing from popular festivals and the vastness of the Cerrado. Key elements include the Mascarados from the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo, catira, congada, and the Catulé, a countercultural symbol of the sacred and profane.

SOUTHEAST

Marcelo Pinel is a visual artist from Minas Gerais who explores the mystical garden of his childhood through tech-driven work in NFT galleries. His concept envisions a chaos/cosmos, where diverse energies coexist around a pulsating sun representing the great mother Spotify, forming a vibrant galaxy of musicians and styles, with the Spotify logo integrated into pulsating speaker shapes.

SOUTH

Ileogivel, a Paraná-based artist, experiments with abstraction and geometric forms. He created an environment of intersecting lines and tropical beach chair patterns to evoke movement and presence. His work represents how sound distorts and impacts individuals differently, with shapes appearing to be pulled from one place to another.

The intentionally chaotic identity was used in the event decor, promotional materials, large screens, and photo opportunities. It also served as the foundation for creating live content, which was shared by hundreds of the most influential figures in Brazilian entertainment. Singers, podcasters, YouTubers, and content creators of all kinds—everyone showcased Brazil's diversity (and the Spotify brand) across their social media platforms. The event generated over 2 million impressions - and counting!
